Treated Pine Fence Extensions - Lattice Factory

Description

These Horizontal 2400 X 580mm treated pine fence extensions will be:

Pool compliant
relatively blocked out helping ensure adequate privacy and security from neighbours and strangers
a modern design of screening off the top of your fence

These fence extensions are constructed with 35 X 9 mm treated pine slats. The slats are graded to maximize the quality and durability of the panels. We would recommend that you paint or stain over the pine panels, as it will improve the durability of the panels. The panels will still last and weather naturally without any staining, but coating the timber will improve its durability.

Please note pine timber does shrink slightly over time

This design of extension has two sides as shown in the photos. We will need to know what side of the fence you’re installing these extensions to. The flat paling side, or the horizontal rail side. That way we can attach the legs correctly.

There is an extra $3 fee per extension for fences with capping on top.

Product Specifications

The panels are made from 35 X 9mm fine sawn treated pine slats.

The gap between the slats is 6mm making the extensions pool compliant

The legs are 45mm wide and 20mm thick made from treated pine

The short leg will be 720mm or 900mm. This sits on the rail side of the fence

The long leg will be 900mm. This sits on the paling side of the fence

Delivery

When calculating delivery, our team will either apply a zone charge for Victorian customers, a Screening Solutions truck charge for Sydney and ACT home deliveries, or a nominated freight charge (local depot or direct delivery) determined by a third party, for regional or interstate customers.

Please note, if your order exceeds a specific weight ratio, a Heavy Load surcharge will be applied to your initial delivery charge (50% surcharge)

Standard Delivery (VIC customers, Screening Solutions Truck for NSW and ACT)
– No Additional charge applied to exisiting delivery costs.
– Our driver will text the customer on the day of delivery approx. 60-30 minutes before arrival
– You do not have to be home to accept delivery
– Products will be left in a logical safe space determined on arrival by our delivery team

Premium Delivery (VIC customers)
– Additional charge of $50 applied to exisiting standard delivery costs
– Additional charge of $100 applied to exisiting Heavy Load delivery costs
– You may select the date that you would like to receive delivery of your products after manufacturing has been completed. Our team will contact you to determine a date. (Monday – Friday, excluding Victorian Public Holidays)
– Our driver will text the customer on the day of delivery approx. 60-30 minutes before arrival
– Products will be left in a logical safe space determined on arrival by our delivery team
– You do not have to be home to accept delivery

Additional Circumstances
If your property is locked or not accessible from the street/road, please ensure you are home at the time of delivery, to allow access to the property for our team.

For residents in appartments, please note, screens will be left at the ground level of the premises.

For deliveries entering a construction zone or new build, please ensure our team have access to the property at the time of delivery. Products will be left in a logical safe space determined on arrival by our delivery team

If you have capping on your fence, we charge an extra $6 for capped legs.

We make these panels to order.

Typically, turn around time for these extensions is 2 weeks depending on supply/ material availability.

Delivery for extensions is available AUS wide.

Installation

Fence extensions are relatively easy to install

The panels slip over the palings with the short leg going on the rail side and the long leg going on the paling side.

The fence extensions will generally straddle the posts unless they are exposed at the top of the fence.

If you have capping on your fence it is easiest to install from the rail side of the fence if possible, as usually the rails will be flush with the capping. If installing from the paling side you will need to position timber chocks behind the long leg before screwing into the palings and through to the rail on the other side.

We recommend 75mm galvanized chipboard screws for normal paling fences, as these are sufficient to screw through the leg into the palings and through to the rail on the other side. We do sell these.
